WHERE WE PLAY

Looking for consistent play and connection? The Mahj-On Social Club at Her Facility is a monthly membership for women ready to show up weekly to build community around the table. Each week brings new tables, new laughs, and a community that cheers each other on. Think Mahjong meets sisterhood — connection, laughter, and belonging all wrapped up in one.
As a Social Member, you have unlimited access to weekly open plays, monthly member-only open plays, and themed open plays. Non-members may join public open play and themed events for $20. Bonus perks for small business owners, side giggers, remote workers, creatives, community builders include access to Her Facility’s coworking space and business community, podcast and content room, private phone booths, an event venue, social networking events and more.
Social Membership: Unlimited (weekly) Open Plays, (monthly) Member Only Open Plays, Themed Open Plays
Cost: Membership is $69/month or Non-members may join public open play/themed plays for $20
Who it’s for: Players who can comfortably play without instruction
Requirement: Players must bring their own current National Mah Jongg League card
Extras: Light snacks and refreshments are provided

Our Coctel Lounge Open Play is a relaxed monthly mahjong gathering held locally where players can enjoy the game in a fun, social atmosphere. This event is designed for players who already know how to play independently and want a casual place to meet up, play mahjong, and connect with other players in the community while supporting a local business. Tables are organized upon arrival and players are welcome to enjoy food and drinks available through the venue while they play. Although this event is free of charge, we do require an RSVP in order to provide a headcount to the venue to proper seating arrangements. If you plan to bring your own tiles, please let us know and plan to arrive at least 15 mins early to set up your table.
When: First Wednesday of each month at 6pm
Cost: No charge (we support the venue by purchasing food and drinks)
Requirement: RSVP required to reserve your seat
Who it’s for: players who can comfortably play without instruction

The Little Mustard Seed Lunch Time Open Play is a relaxed daytime mahjong gathering held locally. This gathering is perfect for players who already know how to play independently and want a casual opportunity to meet up, play friendly mahjong and connect with other players in the community while supporting a wonderful local business. Tables are organized upon arrival and guests are encouraged to enjoy lunch and refreshments.
When: 3rd Friday at 11am
Cost: No charge (we are supporting a local business by ordering food and drinks)
Requirement: RSVP required to reserve your seat
Who it’s for: players who can comfortably play without instruction

GUIDED PLAY: Every Thursday, we host Guided Plays at different Chicken Salad Chick locations such as Baytown, Kingwood, and Pasadena. Instructor: Jessica Trice

Lessons are 3 hours.

We suggest starting with Mahjong 101 and Mahjong 102. The first lesson introduces the game and it’s rules, while the second focuses on guided play to strengthen your understanding and prepare you to play independently.

As long as you know the basics, you’ll fit right in. Games move at an easy pace, and players are always happy to help along the way.

Non-members may join public open play and themed events for $20.
All RSVP’s and drop-in’s will complete the checkout process via Her Facility’s website here.

Refund policy:
All registrations are non-refundable due to limited seating and event preparation.
If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to another available class or event up to two times with advance notice.
No-shows without prior notice will forfeit their transfer eligibility.
